This collection aims to introduce Indonesian batik textiles to global audiences and broaden people's perspectives on traditional motifs and patterns. Every batik design has a unique backstory. The pattern featured in this collection is called 'Mega Mendung' which signifies how life is ever changing and should therefore be approached with serenity. 'Flourish Over Time' demonstrates how classic batik motifs and patterns can be incorporated into contemporary fashion design, with each garment featuring organic style lines, luxurious soft silk and a strong but neutral colour palette of ivory and black.
