UNCOUPLED ELEMENTS.
Uncoupled (verb) to separate two things that are joined together.
Elements (noun) part of something.
As humans, our personalities contain different elements. The fragility of our intricacies remain hidden under a composed exterior. There is so much beauty found within the chaos of a person, varying elements compete and complete each other.
“Uncoupled Elements” makes use of competing fabrics, where depth and discovery is found through the garment’s layers.
The use of silk and cotton textiles translate to the softness and pureness within our complexities. Denim, a textile known for its longevity, representing perseverance and resilience. Georgette portrays the beauty shown in vulnerability. Incompatible fabrics are used throughout this collection, ultimately, completing it.
