Space Generation

Inspired by the Apollo Project in 1969 which was led by NASA, this collection can be understood as a start of the human generation entering space and the technological development within fashion. How will we dress, what will we eat, when will we start this kind of life in space? 

Since the time of the Apollo project, Designers have found ways to incorporate Technology and space age materials into fashion design and utilised techniques such as laser cutting, 3-D printing and high reflective fabrics. Fashion design is not only about vintage and traditional skills; it can also be thought of as a tool to build the future.  This collection looks to the effects, stories and elements brought about by technological development into fashion design.
